Since 1994, I have been working in both private and public mental health sectors. I have worked as a mental health counselor for students deemed emotionally disturbed in elementary, Jr High and High school day Treatment programs. I have also worked in Wraparound, and therapeutic foster care programs. My experience includes individual, couple and group work with children, adults, couples, families and blended families with issues related to individual growth, relationships, life transitions, grief/loss, anxiety, depression, trauma, childhood abuse, codependency, anger, foster care issues, LGBTQ issues, behavior challenges and parenting. While I work with all age groups, I am especially adept at assisting adolescent clients resolve issues related to bullying, social challenges and the challenges that come with being a teenager in today’s trying times.
